This miniature Nativity scene is hand carved by a fourth generation master wood carver in Bethlehem from a branch of native olive wood. The three-dimensional Nativity scene carved within the branch features the Joseph, Mary and the animals, adoring the Newborn King with the Christmas star overhead. A remarkable and meaningful Holy Land gift and a special way to decorate for Christmas.

Trees are never cut down for the wood used in these ornaments. Olive branches pruned in the growing process are used with care in selection, drying, and carving. Small cracks, imperfections and grain variation are part of the natural appearance.
