An excellent book for the Lenten season!

This is an excellent collection of meditations that tie in with the readings of the daily mass. It is brief enough to not take too much time to read, and yet very insightful, with practical applications in daily life. Quotations from various saints, Fathers of the church and various Catholic documents are very helpful. This book was given to me as a gift by one of my sisters last year, and it helped me so much through my Lenten journey that I have bought several copies to share with family and friends this year. Best Uses: Gift; Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader; Pros: Deserves Multiple Readings, Easy To Read, Informative, Well Written

    Deeper meaning found during Lent

I follow up my daily readings according to the Churches directive with what the book readings for that day are. It brings more meaning and insight into the scripture for that day. It is making my walk with Jesus during this period of Lent more meaningful. I highly recommend this book for any one who is looking for more insight into what Lent is meant to be. Deepen your walk with Jesus during the 40 days He spent in the desert in preperation for His Passion. Best Uses: Gift; Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader; Pros: Informative, Page-Turner, Well Written
