4" blue crib medal in sturdy plastic with metal Guardian Angel watching over children. Comes with a Guardian Angel prayer card and is gift boxed. Great baptism or new arrival gift.
The metal angel looks like the baby could chew it off or break it off. The crib medal is not built for being a plaything. It could break too easily Put it on a wall above the baby's crib where the baby and parent can see it and remember God's love in giving us an angel to protect us. Even many non Christians like angels, so it can be given to many new babies. There is a pink one for girls and a white one for any baby. It is an inexpensive gift, but an attractive one. The metal angel is actually the whole scene of an angel with outspread wings guarding a little boy and a little girl across a rickety bridge. Many people have that picture. I like to give this crib medal in appropriate colors to all the new babies in my family and my friends' families. Everyone likes it a lot, including my Protestant relatives. I often give a 6 or 8 inch cross or crucifix with it. For my Protestant relatives I like the brass cross with a pewter boy or girl kneeling at the crux. I also like to give name cards in a folding double metal frame if I can find them. Best Uses: On wall above crib, Where baby can't chew it; Cons: Metal angel can come off; Pros: Angels protect us, Inexpensive attractive, Non-Catholics like angels, Reminder of God's love
