The Devil is Afraid of Me: The Life and Work of the World's Most Popular Exorcist

We can do nothing against you because you are too protected!

So declared a frustrated host of devils to Father Gabriele Amorth, the priest exorcist in Rome who spent thirty years battling the Devil and his minions by performing more than sixty thousand exorcisms. All the while, he deftly used modern media to awaken our disbelieving modern culture and even the Church to the reality of the Devil and his nefarious actions at all times and everywhere.

In these eye-opening pages, angelologist Father Marcello Stanzione tells the fascinating story of Father Amorth and his life as an exorcist. You'll learn of his daily schedule and how he managed to perform dozens of exorcisms each week. You'll find out what his exorcism room looked like, and how various devils responded to his bold practice. Best of all, you'll read Father Amorth's own startling explanations of many truths about the Devil that our culture has forgotten and about the canny methods the Deceiver has adopted in recent years to corrupt believers and unbelievers alike. Among the many questions Father Amorth answers here are:

•    How can we recognize the action of the Evil One?
•    Can a person in the afterlife enter spiritually into a living person?
•    Which prayers of liberation are the most successful?
•    What are the four methods a demon uses to enter souls?
•    Can demons hide from an exorcist?
•    What are the six characteristics of evil spells?
•    Are all instances of clairvoyance managed by demons?
•    Is an exorcist infallible in his judgment and his ministry?
•    Why is there no longer any possibility of salvation for the fallen angels?
•    What are the arms of combat that each of us must use to do battle with evil?
•    And many more surprising facts about the Evil One and how to resist him.

We can do nothing against you because you are too protected! cried the devils that Father Amorth battled. Let Father Amorth teach you in these pages how you, too, can be protected!

Note: Personalization, if added, will be engraved on a large silver charm attached to the home blessing.

Home Blessing - St Benedict

The Home Blessing of St. Benedict is a new and unique way to benefit from the sacramental use of the St. Benedict medal that can be displayed just about anywhere.  Saint Benedict was a great saint known not only for his sanctity but for his resistance and power over devils that tried to undermine him.  Tradition holds that at least twice attempts were made on Saint Benedict's life through poisoned food, and both times his blessing over his meal spared his life.  These and other miracles were frequent in the life of St. Benedict.  He was especially adept at resisting the devil's wiles, thus the St. Benedict medal is a highly indulgenced Catholic saint medal with several exorcism prayers etched onto its surface. As such St. Benedict medals have become favorites among Catholic faithful.
This Home Blessing of St. Benedict is a decorative way to display the St. Benedict medal with knotted nylon cords and beads that can hang from a doorknob or from another convenient place in the home or car.  In addition to a St. Benedict crucifix are two St. Benedict medals of various sizes. The purpose of using the St. Benedict medal is to call down God's blessing and protection upon us, wherever we are, and upon our homes and possessions, especially through the intercession of St. Benedict.  Sacramentals used in this way become a constant silent prayer and reminder of our identity as followers and lovers of Christ. The St. Benedict medal has several prayers associated with it as identified by the acronyms on both sides.  These are a prayer of exorcism against the devil, a prayer for strength in time of temptation, a prayer for a peaceful death in the Lord, a prayer for peace among ourselves and among the nations of the world, a prayer that the Cross of Christ be our light and guide, a prayer of firm rejection of all that is evil, a prayer of petition that we may with Christian courage "walk in God's ways, with the Gospel as our guide," as St. Benedict admonishes us.
