This well-known artwork has been widely reproduced on Christmas cards and holy cards. The original was painted by Roberto Feruzzi, who was a familiar sight in Italy during the final years of the Victorian era. Feruzzi called the painting "Madonnina", but it is better known today as "Madonna of the Streets."
