These holy cards were a gift to a Confirmation Class who just finished a retreat during which they viewed a slideshow using "St. Teresa's Prayer" sung by David Haas. The cards were a beautiful remembrance and the Coordinator was delighted with them. I would buy this product again and again

I ordered the San Damiano Cross prayer cards to honor St. Francis on his name day. I gave them out to all my special friends and told them to pray to St. Francis and to pray the beautiful prayer on the back of the card. Everyone loves them as much as I do. The prayer cards came out beautiful.

    details faded

Francis of Assisi died in 1226. And the San Damiano crucifix, first seen by Francis in an abandoned church, was already old when he had his experience with it. So a reproduction in 2009 on a small format will barely hint at all the detailed representations of the original.I made a trip to Assisi in 2004 and saw the original. That was slightly less than life-sized. One needs an expert to point out all the many detailed figures surrounding the Crucified. It's to be expected that the detailing is therefore much diminished. The Catholic Company product is well done. I am planning to have this as my memorial "holy" card. Best Uses: Special Occasion; Describe Yourself: Quality Driven; Pros: Unique
