St. Boniface

Saint Boniface is the patron of tailors, brewers, and Germany. He was a part of the team of saints in 719 which destroyed idols and pagan temples throughout Germany while building Christian churches out of the ruins. St. Boniface was bishop of Mainz and founded or restored many dioceses. Legend tells of a time when he chopped down a 6 foot wide tree which was worshiped as a pagan god and the crowd instantly began to convert. St. Boniface's feast day is June 5th.
