St. Wolfgang

Saint Wolfgang is the patron saint of carpenters, stroke victims, and paralyzed people. St. Wolfgang, also known as the Great Almoner, was a bishop and reformer of Regensburg in the tenth century. He is remembered most vividly for his teaching abilities, profound preaching, and charity towards the lay people of his diocese. St. Wolfgang was integral to the evangelization efforts of the Magyars of modern Hungary and the missionary efforts in Pannonia. St. Wolfgang's feast day is October 31st.
