The porcelain bas-relief Capodimonte (widely considered to be among the finest Italian porcelain products in the world) cameo is an heirloom-quality gift. This Our Lady of Grace cameo is created with a white opaque bas-relief bisque onto a previously colored jasperware base, then fired in one piece at temperatures up to 1200c... a technique developed more than 3000 years ago. The cameo is then hand finished with a fine chisel, placed in the sterling silver frame, which itself was meticulously hand made in Italy by skilled silversmiths. An attractive piece that any woman will cherish.
