||While doing a big remodeling project at home, my husband and I started getting argumentative, and work was slowing down. Then I recalled St. Joseph's occupation as a carpenter, and probably, out of sheer frustration, obtained this statue and put it near the room we were remodeling, and prayed to good St. Joseph for a peaceful, successful, and efficient conclusion to the project. My non-Catholic husband (who is a handyman) was inspired by st. Joseph as well, and together we got the project done, under budget, and in a shorter time than we had originally planned. More importantly, the arguments came to a stop. The really funny thing is, when I went to order the tile from a "to the trade only" source, and I was asked who my contractor was, I blurted out "Joseph and Son" as the contractor on the project, and was able to get a significant discount from retail! The project is done now, but this statue of St. Joseph the Worker has moved from his supervisory position at the remodeling site to an honored spot on our mantelpiece.
Viva St Joseph! Pros: Beautiful devotion
