How can anyone question Mary's importance?

"I like the daily readings, but the book seems to be written for people who question our Blessed Mother's exalted position & significance in our mortal lives. I've never thought of Mary in other way than as Queen of Heaven. Why would anyone think Mary dishonors Jesus? She was His Mother on earth & remains His Mother in Heaven. Christianity would make no sense without Mary. She is the female inspiration of spiritual awareness. Without her, one is only half aware of the magnificence of holiness."
