Hello, Could you please tell me the maximum number of players that can play this game in one session? Thank you.
Thank you for your question. It's a good one. The image from the supplier shows a child holding the cards as if they are playing a traditional card game with a "hand" but it's really a game played like the matching game some call "Concentration." The cards are laid down and kids (and their adults) can turn them over trying to make pairs and match the cards. There are 26 Catholic vocabulary words, and these 26 pairs of cards make up the 52 card deck. The intent is to talk about the image on the card when you or your child turns it over so they learn the vocabulary words. The words are: Altar Altar Bells Altar Candles Ambo Baptismal Font Baptismal Shell Book of the Gospels Chalice Chasuble Ciborium Confessional Crucifix Cruets Holy Oils Holy Water Font Host Miter Monstrance Paten Pew Sanctuary Lamp Stations of the Cross Stole Surplice Tabernacle Thurible.
