A Beautiful Prayer Book!

"This version of Christian Prayer was definitely worth the purchase! The leather binding is more durable than the usual soft covers, and the gold lettering and edges are lovely! Besides the covers, there is no difference between this Christian Prayer and the regular, red-covered version, so I have no problem navigating it. Is this edition the same as the Christian Prayer book that was published by Catholic Book Publishing Company? Does it have hymns included?
Yes, it is and the publisher is the same. Yes, Christian Prayer by Catholic Book Publishing (the one-volume edition of the Liturgy of the Hours) contains hymns for the different hours, including Morning, Evening, and Night Prayer. It is noted for including musical notation for these hymns, unlike the four-volume set, and includes both traditional and contemporary selections. It does not include the exact same hymns, on the same page numbers as the 4 volume set so you would not be able to receive a page number for a hymn from the 4 volume and find it on the same page in the 1 volume if you pray the Office in a group setting, for example.
