The most popular book in Christianity after the Bible, this treasured classic by Thomas a Kempis has been revised in an easy-to-read edition by Clare Fitzpatrick.

For centuries, the straightforward message has brought peace to millions of readers by showing how to follow the life of Christ, to which we are all called.

To add to the appeal, this volume is enclosed in a burgundy bonded leather cover with a zipper close, set in a larger type, and superbly illustrated. Inside are full color insets with the prayers for the Stations of the Cross and the prayers of the rosary (including the Luminous Mysteries).

I love it. It's small and easy to take with you if you want. Plus it zippers shut to keep the pages and covers flat. The classic contents are wonderful.

Good, but would like to have seen more illustratios.ns,e.g.,

I have a 50 y/o copy of the Imitation of Christ printed by the Confraternity of ChristianDoctrine. It is much better illustrated. Publisher might want toreview this edition published in about 1940.

Next to the Bible, it is the most amazing and beautiful book I have ever read. I refer to it often and it is great during Eucharistic Adoration.
