Does the job

"If you want to protect the LOTH books, this will certainly do it. The binding is really thick and makes it hard to open up the book though. Sometimes the ribbons of the books get stuck in the zipper but the zipper is so big its easy to get it untangled. The binding of the cover doesnt specify if its the book for ordinary time, easter etc. The covers really take a lot of fun out of the actual book but it protects it very well. It would all pay off if it was waterproof through the zippers but its not. As a Marine in the field, this cover is a must though since there is always dirt, mud, sand flying all over the place. It protects the book, no more no less"
