This handsome standing Crucifix is made in light tones of warm, rich olive wood reproducing the one painted by Giotto in 1288 and still above the altar at Santa Maria Novella in Florence. Striking and evocative, it features the Christ in Byzantine style, with Our Lady to His right and St. John the Beloved to His left on the Cross arms. The metal inlay is graceful and highly polished, crafted in the tradition of fine Italian religious art. Choose from a variety of finishes.
