Mary appeared in Fatima to the three shepherd children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta on the 13th of May and each month through October 13, 1917, bringing messages to impact the world and lead souls to her Son. The messages of this miracle still impact the world today. This platter design honors the apparitions and reminds us to pray the rosary and place ourselves in the Immaculate Heart of Mary daily.
The design mimics blue and white vintage dinnerware known as chintzware and transferware, on which patterns are applied by transferring them from a copper plate, to paper, to ceramics. It reveals Mary in all her beauty at Fatima with the Portuguese shepherd children.
