"This is a wonderful book, filled with the wisdom of St. Benedict, but fun to read and easy to understand. I especially enjoyed the "homework assignments" at the end of each chapter. I did each of them and they have helped me to be a better person. When I get too full of myself, I check back in with St. Benedict and he helps me to get back on the right path."

"I’ve read many books reviewing and explaining the Rules of St. Benedict - this one is by far the best. It doesn’t go into the archaic language of the rules and their various nuances. It simply presents the rule and then demonstrates or applies it to the writer’s life experience as a Benedictine. He explains it in a very straightforward,practical and concise way. It is easy to read and I find myself referring back to it often. I enjoyed it so much that I have gifted it to members of my family."
