This gorgeous statue is made in Fatima from wood composition, meaning wood mixed with polymers and resin to provide the look of traditional wood but the increased durability and fine detailing better suited to statues made of polymers and resin. Our Lady's crown is metal and her eyes are glass, which was a very traditional design element in statues throughout the ages that is rare to find these days.
What is crown made of; hopefully, metal? Is statue resin with wooden base? I purchased from your company earlier this year, very happy with purchase. Thank you!

It mimics the appearance of traditional artisan crafted wooden statues but includes binders like resin to make it more durable. Her eyes are glass, which was an age-old tradition not seen frequently today. These statues are made in Fatima.
