Important! Not elegible for Indulgence or Privileg

"It is important that everyone understands that this is NOT the medal of St Benedict, and therefore it is not possible for the Indulgences and favors to be attached to it. Sure, you could have a priest bless it, I suppose, but that is where it ends. For the Medal of St Benedict to have the Indulgences and favors attached to it, it must be the whole Medal, in other words, it must have the image of St Benedict, for one. There are other conditions which must be met, or the imagine, such as this ring is only a nice object. The book, "The Medal or Cross of St Benedict, The Origen, Meaning and Privileges" by Dom Prosper Gueranger, OSB, is the definitive authority and provides Pope Benedict XIV directed the Medal design and all the convictions which had to be met for the Medal to have the attached privileges. Another important detail, a simple blessing does not convey the Indulgence nor the privileges. There is a specific formulae which must be followed to attach the privileges and to ensure the Medal will have the exorcistic powers attached to the Medal. No other forms, no other material, no other design will work. God be with you!"
