Review: I purchased this for a few friends who were in a car accident (though thankfully unhurt.) I was far away and wanted them to be reminded that St. Joseph would continue to protect them as he protected Mary and the Child Jesus. I greatly dislike tacky religious articles, but this is beautiful and classic. I searched through many statues before finding this one. Review: The statue is well cast and well painted, but I would have liked it better if it had not been made in China [...] and had weighed more. I had hoped it would be more stone-like being made of a "stone-resin mix", but it really seems little like either of those substances. It looks and feels a lot like wood, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
