Product Description

  • The Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of the Little Flower
  • One of the most beloved spiritual classics
  • A beautiful way to come to know the Little Flower
  • Beautifully sincere, deeply moving

One of the all-time favorite Catholic books, in which St. Therese teaches her "Little Way" of Spiritual Childhood. This outstanding book has sold many millions of copies worldwide and was instrumental in bringing down the "shower of roses" which St. Therese promised to send from Heaven.

The Story of a Soul conveys St. Therese of Liseux's "Little Way" of spiritual childhood - her "elevator" to Heaven, as she called it. This method was approved by Pope Pius XI as a way for all to grow in holiness through unfailing confidence and childlike delight in God's merciful love.

Again and again in this book, St. Therese shows us how her "Little Way" of love and trust comes straight from Sacred Scripture. This book belongs in every Catholic home, for Pope St Pius X stated St. Therese of Liseux the "greatest saint of modern times."

Review: This is a warm and wonderful book and particularly inspiring. The fact that a child of two could be so in love with Jesus makes me ashamed. At 74 I am still working on loving Him the way that she did at two. There is a lesson here. This book has changed my life for the better. What a great work and I thank you for offering it to me at an affordable price.

The Story of a Soul

Review: One of the most meaningful and beautiful books I have read. Touched my heart and soul.....

I loved this book

Review: I read this book in a week or so as I wanted to take my time and reflect on the writings of St. Therese...I found myself filled with the peace and love of Jesus. I would read mostly during the evening and would reflect upon this beautiful life. One morning I awoke to the smell of flowers but thought perhaps it was a dream. Two nights later while praying the Rosary I was flooded with the scent of the most beautiful flowers! There was no mistaking the presence of "The Little Flower".

The Story of a Soul

Review: I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes it was hard to read because of the translation, but all in all it was very enjoyable. I could not put it down and read it in three days.

Wonderful Story

Review: I am a very slow reader, but I read this book in three days. As I could not put it down for very long at a time. This is also very touching story, and at time tugged at my heart strings... This woman had a very special relationship with Jesus... She was truly his Little Flower.

The Story of a Soul: The Autobiography of Therese Lisieux

Review: I am really enjoying this book.

The Story of a Soul

Review: I was a person who liked to sink his teeth into heavyweight stuff, like I read Johnathon Edwards. Heavy Christian theology. But; I have never read something like this, such a simple loving faith from a a young girl who thought it to be blessed in all that she suffered. As it goes this little book by the "Little Flower" Has given me a love and joy of my re-found Catholic faith that I have never known, this little book can reach a soul like mine, then it is great.

The story of Therese de Lisieux an overview

Review: Being a retired physician and as visitor of Lisieux cathedral where Therese de Lisieux is buried I found PEACE in my SOUL AND HEART. With a smell of roses never felt before as a divine signal of her presence among us. Her legacy of Love for Mankind is a reality and miracles show us her divine power by God the Almighty to all Mankind. But all worldwide men and women of FAITH may have certainly the support and spiritual aid by the divine Therese de Lisieux, the Little Flower.
