"I love the variety of people and times highlighted in this book, showing the various fields of science that many faithful Catholics have been involved in over the centuries. I bought this first copy for a young niece who wants to be a scientist and I hope it is a book she will grow to love and come back to many times over the years. It has incredible illustrations and interesting graphics of a prominent quote related to each person as well! The only thing I didn't love about it was the conclusion which said in a straightforward way something along the lines of ""see, faith and science can work together. "" I thought the book illustrated that point throughout. It didn't need to be restated in a conclusion and for those who are receiving the book at a younger age probably haven't internalized the message of ""Faith and Science are at odds"" that this book was written to combat may make them question or doubt the message that the two are complimentary. That may just be me, but I don't think it added to the actual meat of the book, which illustrated that point well."
