"The Bible itself was great and very beautiful, and I understand that being pro-life is a very common and standard Catholic belief. My issue wasn’t really with the message itself. It just felt strange to see a cell phone company advertising inside a family Bible at all. It made something that should feel personal and spiritual suddenly feel commercialized. 5% goes to pro-life charities” also comes across more like a marketing strategy than genuine giving. If supporting those causes is meaningful to someone, they could just donate 5% themselves directly instead of going through a company that gets the branding, customer loyalty, and likely tax write-offs from it. It feels less like charity and more like using religion and donations as a business model."
