Planner with good faith resources, but bad format
"There is a lot I really like about this planner. But there is one key thing that makes me not want to buy one again next year. Pros: -Well made. The cover seems robust, and it has an elastic band to keep it closed -Information on Saint Feast Days for both the Novus Ordum and TLM, as well as their respective patronages, and periodic pages dedicated to short biographies of select Saints -Little icons for days of fasting or abstinence, as well as descriptions of what those terms mean exactly in the front of the planner, and notations for days of obligation -A wonderful collection of prayers at the front of the planner -A couple pages at the beginning to write goals for the year -A couple pages to track your reading list Cons (why I personally don't like it): -The biggest con to me is the format of the pages for each individual day. They are structured as lines, and to the left are times of day, but it only goes from 7 to 6. Yes, you could ignore those and write on the page however you like, but then you could also use any book with blank or lined pages. It's a detail I really would have appreciated in the pictures or product description. It's a personal preference, but I really don't think this is a good format. -No blank pages in the back for random notes to keep together in one section. This is a feature of some other planners I've had that I really like. -The pages for each month-at-a-view calendar are jammed together at the front. Especially given there is only one ribbon, it would have been better to move these calendar pages to just before the first day or each respective month. Overall, it's well made and has great Catholic faith resources. If you don't mind the format of the day-by-day pages, then buy it, as the other issues are worth overlooking. For me, the fact that the bulk of the planner space is this format is the reason I ended up buying and using another one (the Gather & Pray Catholic Planner)."
