"I purchased this miraculous medal as a First Communion gift for our daughter, thinking it was pretty enough to make her feel grownup wearing it. The necklace chain is lovely, however, the medal is far smaller than I was expecting. I feel the image was a bit misleading as the medal looks larger in the image compared to the the beads on the chain than it is in reality. The medal is actually about the size of my pinky nail. . . I am very disappointed. The medal is still pretty with the scalloped detail, but it really needs to be bigger if being worn as a necklace in my opinion. It would make a fine charm for a bracelet though. I plan to replace the medal with a larger one."
