"I love the board book options for my little girl! She loves that she can handle them and I love that she can't rip the pages!"
"This board book is sturdy and well-made for little hands. It features eleven well-known Saints (Augustine, Francis of Assisi, Teresa of Avila, Ignatius of Loyola, Thérèse of Lisieux, Patrick, John Paul II, Clare of Assisi, Pio of Pietrelcina, Catherine of Siena, and Josemaría Escrivá. Each Saint featured has a two-page spread: the left page has a memorable quote by the Saint who spoke or wrote it and the right page has a beautiful picture of the Saint doing something that greatly impacted them. These pictures offer another chance for discussion with your little ones because they reference an important event in that Saint’s life that helped to shape his or her ministry. For example, St. Augustine is pictured with a child (Jesus) on a beach and the ocean takes up most of the picture. St. Thérèse of Lisieux is pictured among the rose bushes. St. Patrick is pictured showing a shamrock to children. This is a great opportunity to read about the lives of the Saints in greater detail so you can share and learn together about our brothers and sisters in Heaven. Each picture beautifully reflects the quote opposite of it and gives you an opportunity to talk about what it means."
"This was a birthday gift for my 5 yo niece. I was able to flip through it before wrapping & sending it to her. Honestly, for a Child's First Book of Saint's, even I had never heard of about 80% of the Saints in the book. Other than that, my sister in law said she would make sure she would set it on the table next to my niece's bed so she would read it and it would get read to her. (My niece LOVES books & to read-and my sister in law said they had just brought back a ton of books from the library"
