Hello Is the Girl's Gold Over Sterling Dainty Miraculous Medal Necklace, safe to sleep and shower with it?
Thank you for your question. This is such a pretty and delicate piece for a little girl. We would not recommend showering, bathing or swimming with it. It is gold plated, and chemicals and water can eventually cause the finish to deteriorate. So can sunscreens and perfumes. To preserve the finish of gold plated jewelry, we recommend not exposing it to moisture or chemicals, keeping it clean and dry, and polishing it to remove oils or lotions with a jewelry cloth or clean, dry microfiber cloth.
