But the brother and sister are about to discover there’s much more to Easter than candy and toys, as they embark on a very special Easter egg hunt that will reveal all of God’s greatest gifts to us.

About the Author

Brenda Castro works as a librarian and technology teacher at a Catholic elementary school. Her love for teaching and her passion for books inspired her to write God’s Easter Gifts. In her debut work, she wanted to tell a story that would teach children that, even though Easter is fun, there is a much deeper meaning to this holy day and the journey toward the Resurrection begins forty days earlier on Ash Wednesday. It is Brenda’s hope that, through this story, children will come to understand all the ways God blesses us throughout the year and surrounds us with His love everyday through all the gifts He gives us. Brenda lives in Glendale, Arizona, with her husband and three children. She graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking and reading to her children.
