This gorgeous image is taken from an antique holy card printed in the 1800's. It features the Three Hearts of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, with the Sacred Heart at the top, and Immaculate and Chaste Hearts below. 

 The hearts are wreathed in their own crowns of thorns, and surrounding the crowns are also wheat and thistles, richly symbolizing the Body of Christ in the Eucharist, and the sufferings of Christ, as well as divine love, determination, stregth and resilience. Made with a process called chromolithography, new in the 1800's, it produced color-rich images in vibrant style. 

In French, the phrase printed below the imagery reads, "They are my safeguard."
