These lovely taper candles are made of paraffin in the colors of the Lenten season. They are especially appropriate for use in a Lenten Candleholder, where you light one candle each week as you journey through lent and with Christ, to His passion. Enter fully into the season by detaching from the everyday and spending a few moments of quiet time in prayer. The four violet candles on the first four Sundays symbolize penance and repentance.
