""Life is Worth Living" is a collection of 24 CD's taken from segments of the various episodes Archbishop Fulton Sheen's TV program "Life Is Worth Living". This was a TV programs back in the 1950's that remains relevant in today's modern times. As Archbishop Sheen stated, "The greatest enemy of the Catholic Church in today's times is the modern man and not its doctrines". Added to that, he also stated that it is up to the laity and not the clergy to help the Catholic Church succumb to decadence. But Jesus established the one true Catholic and apostolic Church that the gates of hell would prevail against it. Interesting collection of talks about Catholicism from Archbishop Fulton Sheen."

Key component missing

"The set is nice and his talks are good, but the CD's are broken up into numerous tracks per topic, and they don't have metadata past the first disc. For example, the second disc has 2 topics on it. ""puppets or men"" and ""Line up the claimants"". On this disc there are 10 tracks with no names. Which track does ""line up the claimants"" start? There isn't even a cheat sheet with what tracks correlate to what topics. For 100$ I expected to have metadata on the discs. Attached is a photo of disc 2, 2-24 all are missing metadata."

We listen to one CD daily; second set we bought

"We bought this set several years ago (pre-pandemic) and had it in the car for commutes. The first set went missing and we were hardly waiting until Catholic Company carried the set again. Bishop Sheen's talks are so revelatory and having them on CD gives them a different kind of feeling, a solidness, than simply saving them as audio files. Also the audio quality for this set is quite good."

Wonderful Series

"I watched LIFE IS WORTH LIVING when I was six years old in 1952. I had no idea what a Catholic bishop was since I was raised protestant in a small town with no Catholic church. I would run in the house from playing outside and ask my mom if it was time for ""the man in the dress"" to come on TV. She would give me cookies and milk and I would sit, mesmerized, listening to Bishop Sheen speak directly to ME. I always wished he would let us see the ""angels"" that cleaned his blackboard for him.
