"My granddaughter wore this lovely medal for 5 minutes after night bath, when one of the links to the clasp failed. She was doing nothing but normal walking and living. The medal is lovely and femanine, but I had to additionally purchase a better quality chain."

Nice but quite small

"This was a gift for my daughter's First Communion. It is beautiful and she loves it. My only disappointment is that it is not just slightly larger so that you could read the prayer surrounding Mary. ""Oh Mary conceived without Sin, Pray for us who have recourse to Thee. "" I know the prayer so I know that is what the bumps on the necklace say, if you didn't know the prayer you would not be able to read it. I will just have to teach her it. It would have been nice if a pamphlet explaning the medal would have come with it. My daughter is quite tall for 8 yrs old and the 18"" necklace is perfect on her. It falls very slightly below the neckline of most shirts she wears."
