This expressive & moving image of the Nativity is presented in rich colors and traditional style, exquisitely framed in gold, for a timeless elegance that compliments any style of décor. 

It was painted by Jean Baptiste Marie Pierre in 1745, and features a shepherd prostrating himself in adoration of the Newborn King as the shepherds visit the Holy Family during the Nativity. Angels surround them as Jesus and Mary look on in awe.

The Child Jesus alert and serious, accepts their adoration, and the work reminds us of the incredible gift of the Incarnation to mankind.
