Gary Thomas, among others, and packages it into an approachable and intriguing book that conveys, to today’s Catholics, critical insights into the activity of the diabolical and spiritual warfare tactics with which we must be familiar. These exorcists pull their teachings from the sacred traditions of our Faith, the teachings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, the wisdom of exorcists under whom they were trained, and their own extensive experience in the realm of spiritual warfare, deliverance, and exorcisms.

The purpose of this book is to help enlighten Catholics to the spiritual war in which we all find ourselves. Not only is this battle real, but the Church knows it well, and has provided both wisdom and weapons, teachings and sacramentals, to enable Catholics to fight in this battle into which they have all been drafted, and be victorious. “The devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour,” as St. Peter says. These exorcists face this devil, and the many demons who fell with him, as a central part of their spiritual ministry. Let them teach you what they know and impart to you those things that will aid you most in your spiritual life. Allow yourself to be instructed by spiritual masters that you may learn the manner in which the devil attacks you, the weapons you have at your disposal, and the means to find healing for the wounds you have suffered in your life.

Know your enemy. Know his tactics. Know his motives. Know his nature. Know his origin. Know his goal. Know his language. Know his network. Know his personality. Know his strengths. Know his weaknesses. Once this knowledge is obtained, you can more effectively predict your enemy’s behavior, recognize his traps, use the proper preventative measures against him, and drive him away when he persists.

Know Thy Adversary - The Demons

""Slaying Dragons: What Exorcists See & What We Should Know" is a book that presents exorcists such as Fr. Chad Ripperger, Fr. Gabriele Amorth, Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea, Fr. Gary Thomas and among others about knowing our adversary - the demons - to become effective in spiritual combat to live in obedience to the commandments of God and to remain faithful to the Catholic doctrine based. It is an easy to read book that will help us in the era of modernism where tolerance for sin has been normalized due to moral relativity. Saint Joan of Arc once stated that we must know our adversary in terms of military strategy. This books provides an effective job of how the demons operate to thwart man's relationship with God."

Slaying Dragons

"This book was clear, concise, very well organized and gave very helpful information. It was also well documented and there were constant references to various exorcists explaining things. It was also a very easy read, giving you plenty of information, but not in a deep heady way. One of the best books on the subject that I have read so far."

This book is very helpful,

"This book is very helpful, especially in the times we are living in today. I would recommend every Catholic and for that matter every non-Catholic read this book. This book, through the experiences of well known exorcists and knowledge gained through those experiences, provides awareness of the evil one and his tactics. The same exorcists also explain how to protect against and deal with the evil one and his minions and all types of attacks and afflictions. This book is a must read and must have for spiritual warfare."

incredible work

"Talk about a lifesaving document. If you have had an abusive or disordered past, whether or not of your own making, and find yourself inexplicably hounded in repeated bad situations I would strongly suggest picking up this book. You just may find the answers you seek and be able to change your life before it is too late."

Some fact, lots of uninformed opinion

"I appreciated the history and information by priests who have performed exorcisms, but when Fraune refers to Beyonce being possessed in performance, I started laughing. I now doubt the information he's written based on his opinions only. Beyonce is a Christian - raised Methodist - who's charitable organizations (Survivor Foundation, Food Banks, Chime for Change) have helped hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Fraune brings up haunted locations - but earthbound souls who have not gone into the light aren't necessarily demonic. We should pray for lost souls to go into the light. I was hoping for more facts based on research."
