Disappointed in the quality

"I purchased a St. Benedict crucifix from The Catholic Company and was unfortunately disappointed in the quality when it arrived. My concern isn’t so much about where an item is manufactured, but about transparency and integrity in how products are represented. When a company presents itself as representing the Catholic faith and sells an item at a premium price point, I believe customers reasonably expect craftsmanship and quality that reflect that. The crucifix I received felt extremely lightweight and plastic, more comparable to a very inexpensive mass-produced item than something priced over $100. To be clear, the spiritual significance of a sacramental doesn’t come from the materials - it could be made from something as simple as popsicle sticks and still carry the same meaning and power of faith. My disappointment is strictly with the company’s product quality and value relative to the price. I hope the company considers being more transparent about materials and sourcing and improves the quality of the items they sell. Many customers purchase from faith-based companies because they want to support businesses that reflect the values they represent."
