"When I got this rosary in May, I submitted a positive comment. I loved the rosary. Days later I decided to set the rosary aside to use as a Christmas gift for one of my nieces. Occasionally, I've taken it out and looked at it. Today when I took it out I saw that much of the red coloring on the red beads has come off, exposing a light pink or wood color underneath. The red beads never did look like ""glass"" beads, but looked like wooden beads which had been painted; they've never looked as good as they appear online. I still like the rosary, but with the peeling of red coloring I can't give it as a gift, but I'll keep it for myself; I'll have to get another rosary for my niece."
