"My 15year old son asked for a medal of either St. Francis or St. Joan of Arc. After comparing the available designs he chose this one. [. . . ] we are both very pleased with the design and quality. The chain has no clasp, so it has good strength for active people. The medal is shiny and beautiful. I anticipate he will be able to wear this for many years. Could be worn by either girls or boys, but the heavier chain favors masculine tastes. Best Uses: Durable for young people, Good design for boys, Good for teens; Pros: Durable, Good Quality, Simple design"

Typical Joan of Arc medal

"This is a nice Joan of Arc medal. I wear it all the time on the same chain as my Miraculous Medal. However, one thing that wasn't clear to me from the description is the chain is solid -- there is no clasp. I had to bend the metal loop open to move the medal from one chain to the other. Also, you would want to make sure the chain is long enough to fit over your head."
