Nice cover, illustrations and stories

"I like the cover, though wish it were hardback. It's a nice thick book, with lots of pages of illustrated Bible stories. Wording is good for kids age 7+ I would say, or read aloud to younger children. It's definitely not board-book style writing. I wasn't sure from the pics online how much text there was per page, but it's a good amount. This was bought for a present for a 5 year old."

Wanted a BIBLE

"I wanted a Bible, not Bible stories. The illustrations are bright and well done. The appearance in general is very appealing. The stories are well told in language little ones can understand. But I wanted at least a Bible format with Old Testament and New delineated, and verse numbers etc. It is a pretty book, just not what I am looking for."

Just what I wanted

"I was looking for a Catholic Bible to give to my granddaughter for her First Holy Communion. Nothing too young or too advanced for her comprehension skills. This fit the bill. The stories (both Old and New Testaments) are geared to her level with extra information about our faith and Bible characters that she can understand. She will receive an adult study version when she makes her Confirmation. Very happy with this version."
