"A beautiful bible a great help in reading and meditation."
"For several years now the Great Adventure Bible has been my favorite but this year I wanted to start taking notes and decided I would prefer a study Bible. Someone told me about one and I was a little hesitant because I was warned that it was very large but it got good reviews so I ordered it. It is so huge I struggle with it and found that I was not using it as much as I wanted to. On a whim I started looking online and wondered to myself if the Great Adventure Bible came in any other versions. I was very pleased to see they offered one called a notetaking version. I read reviews and watched a few videos on it and even saw comparison between it and the one I had previously bought and although the reviews did say this Bible was large I went ahead and bought it anyway. I was so happy when I received it! Yes it is a large Bible but it is not so big that it would be a problem. You can take it with you to a study group or use it at home the font is excellent easy to read even with my poor eyesight the columns are lined on each side of the page to make notes. Highlighters do not go through to the next page. It also has three ribbon markers. It has the same color coded reading plan as the original and after using it for several days I would not hesitate to recommend this Bible. Yes it is large but it’s not as heavy and bulky as others. The cover is soft and comfortable to hold and it has a lot of good information to help you understand what you are reading. I am hoping that someday they make a Bible bag or case specifically for this Bible because everything about it is so nice that it has become my everyday Bible. I have already recommended it to others."
"I like that there is space for notes. This is a pretty big book. Best used at a table for support."
"I love the amount of space for notetaking! Comes with The Bible Timeline chart which is a great visual of God's salvation plan within the context of secular history. The color-coded time periods are helpful in remembering where you are in the big picture. References to the Catechism are also color coded and helpful in understanding the connections between the Church's teachings and scripture. The only downside I see is the size. It's very thick which makes it a little difficult to grab and take along with you. But I'll just work on hand strength as I don't see how you could make it smaller and still packed with so much!"
