St. Robert Bellarmine

Saint Robert Bellarmine is the patron of canon lawyers, catechists, catechumens, and the archdiocese of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a Jesuit priest and celebrated theologian. St. Robert Bellarmine wrote numerous works to defend the faith against Protestant attack. He is also well-known for being the theological adviser to Pope Paul V, head of the Vatican library, and Doctor of the Church. St. Robert Bellarmine's feast day is September 17th.
