Earring Guide

Perhaps you want to mark her first time getting her ears pierced, or are celebrating a First Communion, Confirmation, Mother’s Day, anniversary or birthday, either way earrings are always the perfect fit.  Earrings come in three basic styles:

  • Stud Earrings:  Stud earrings are classic and versatile.  A nice pair of stud earrings is perfect for young girls receiving their First Communion or women looking for a more modest, maintenance free look.  Show her how much you care by giving her a pair of stud earrings to celebrate the birth of a child or make a young girls birthday extra special by presenting her with her first pair of earrings.  Stud earrings won’t get caught up in hair and are great for mothers with young children who love to reach up and grab shiny objects.

  • Hoop Earrings:  Hoop earrings are a fun alternative without being too showy.  A nice pair of hoop earrings is a great way to mark an anniversary or celebrate a Confirmation.  Hoop earrings come in a number of styles from simple hoops to hoops decorated with crosses and other charms looped through them.

  • Drop Earrings or Dangle Earrings:  Drop earrings and dangle earrings are made to hang below their settings and sway with movement.  Dangle and drop earrings come in creative designs and shapes and are fun for birthdays and graduations.

No matter what style earring you choose, always make sure to pick earrings made of quality materials, especially for women with sensitive skin.  Sterling silver earrings and 14K gold earrings are usually safe and won’t cause allergic reactions.
