Beautifully written! Hard to put down.

Review: This detailed life of St. Catherine of Siena written by Blessed Raymond of Capua (her confessor) is so beautifully written and edited. The translating and editing is so good that it's like listening to Bl. Raymond himself -- none of the usual stilted and hard to follow verbage of many of the translations of old writings. It is alive, vibrant, has a sense of the events happening just yesterday! It is a personal account of his experience knowing St. Catherine, and it reads like that.
