This hand made, intricate Nativity scene is hand carved by a fourth generation master wood carver in Bethlehem, from native olivewood. The three-dimensional Nativity scene features the Holy Family and animals, all adoring their Infant King. The backdrop is a Christmas tree, a palm tree, and of course, the Christmas star. Also a music box, it plays "Silent Night." A meaningful Holy Land gift, and a special way to decorate for Christmas, it's perfect for those in small spaces.
Trees are never cut down for the wood used in these ornaments. Olive branches pruned in the growing process are used with care in selection, drying, and carving. Small cracks, imperfections and grain variation are part of the natural appearance.
