This distinctive Rosary is made of Paesina stone, first quarried in Italy by the Medici family in the 16th C. Used for furniture, decorative objects, and later as a painting surface, this ancient stone is a compressed limestone that develops color over time.

The unique rosary ranges in hue from rusty bronze, to brown-black, to ivory with a pink or orange undertone. The Hail Mary beads are round and dark, and the Our Fathers are faceted in lighter tones. An oxidized silver Miraculous Medal with lovely flourishes is the centerpiece. The Crucifix is simple yet elegant. Made in Italy, it includes a rosary prayer leaflet.
