This is a beautiful cookbook
"This is a beautiful cookbook and I love the concept. The pictures and artwork included are gorgeous and I like the layout of the recipes. However, I have been disappointed with the lack of editing/testing on some of the recipes. I've had this cookbook for 3-4 years now and recently gifted it to my sister, so I would recommend it. Most of the recipes that I have made are good, and we've found some favorites. But I would love to see a second edition with some of the errors fixed. For example, some of the recipes will include an ingredient that then is never included in the recipe (like the cooking spray in the oat cakes recipe, or the lemon juice in the kolaczki recipe). Other recipes are nearly impossible to execute as written, like the St Isidore cookies which turn out to be a very thin dough, almost a batter, despite instructions to knead and shape it, or the date molasses recipe in the St John's roasted chicken recipe which simply doesn't work as written! All that being said, I return to this cookbook often when we want to make something special for a feast day. But I could imagine it would be frustrating for a new or beginner cook. One additional note--those living in more rural areas or not in the US may have difficulty finding some of the international ingredients in a handful of the recipes in this book."

Beautiful, delicious and Inspiring!
"I absolutely LOVE this cookbook. It made me feel like the Saints were family members worth celebrating for their feast day, much like a family birthday. The art is gorgeous, the delicious recipes authentic, and the saints are brought closer to our hearts and minds through story and prayer. I purchased one as a gift and one for myself to enable our sharing of the recipes and experience of cooking it together on a video call. Thank you!"
