"TL:DR: buyer beware! I really dont like to write negative reviews. . . . something has to be legitamately wrong for me to even go to the trouble. However, since the price on this is quite high, I feel its only kind to do so. I loved this when it first arrived: cute, tiny, shiney, beautiful. I put it on a different chain because the one it came with is QUITE scratchy and I have sensitive skin, but thats not why I'm giving 1 star. The rating is primarily because, within a few months, less than 6mo for sure, most of the gold had fully worn off of this and it looked horrible. Like worse than a Halloween costume-type quality. Also, because the underlying metal is unknown, I couldn't even send it out to be electroplated, though I did try at home to no avail. So I highly HIGHLY recommend you spend money on a different item. For real, the $5 jewelry from AM*Z*N has a longer-lasting finish. For the record, I did not put it through any harsh conditions. I probably showered with it on a couple of times, but it did not come into contact with chlorine from a pool, harsh skincare things or lotions (I don't use that stuff), go through the washer, etc. It simply wore off due to normal daily wear. This made me SOOOO SOOOOOOO sad because I've spent years trying to find cute, super tiny, Catholic jewelry, and every item I have found (though its only been like 3 items) has been utterly a disappointment with the gold finishes being ultra thin and wearing off within a year or less, no matter how high a price I paid thinking it would be good quality. At $80, this is frankly WAY too high a price for something that will look terrible in less than 6 months. 😿🙈 This is super cute though, and if they ever came out with a SOLID gold one, I'd be first in line."

To keep it brilliant be sure to remove it before applying lotions, perfumes, hair spray, soaps and body washes. Chlorine, salt water, regular water, sweat and chemicals can damage the finish of your piece.
