The oval shape of this Miraculous Medal mimics the original image revealed to St. Catherine Laboure on November 27, 1830 by the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Blessed Mother displayed herself inside an oval shaped frame, standing upon the world with various rings on her fingers shining rays of light. Around the outside of the frame were the words, “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” This pewter Miraculous Medal is the same image as portrayed to St. Catherine and bears with it a promise of blessings to those who wear it with piety. 

Note: Personalization, if added, will be engraved on a silver charm attached to the chain.

"I ordered two of these Miraculous Medals. I bought the first one with the intention of adding it to a charm bracelet (my previous MM bracelet charm was smaller, quite old, and broke). Well, I liked this one so much I decided to wear it until I could get to the jeweler. I debated if this one was too big to add to a charm bracelet. I ultimately decided it wasn't too large so I ordered a second one for my charm bracelet. It is about an inch tall and good quality. I believe it will last a long time."
