Looks Cheap
"This is my second purchase of an "icon" from The CC. The first was nice but this one is not. This is a thick rectangle (they say it's wood but it seems like plastic). It is not slim and elegant like the first one I bought, it’s very cheap looking- nothing like the photo on the site. I rang CC to discuss my disappointment but the rep in India was hard to communicate with and I had to give up. I called India 2-3 times (with no success) before I finally found their local number, which I called. The local, NC, rep told me that the mistake was mine and that I would have to pay to send it back. I paid 16. 00 to send back a 22. 00 item. All this despite the fact that I’ve been a customer since 2010 (they were called something different back then) and have easily spent thousands of dollars on various services under the umbrella of parent company Trinity Road. They no longer have any loyalty (they once did)- not to me and not to the local workers that they’ve laid off in favour of Indian phone banks. Money. Notice how Morning Offering has become a very tedious advertisement interspersed with verses, etc. ? Money. Very disappointed in the formerly great Catholic Company. I am, now, a former customer. But Fr. Doyle rocks. And, sometimes, he hawks For them."
