- Vibrantly and richly colored
- Reflects her perfect serenity and abandonment
- Unframed, full color print
- Handcrafted with love and prayer by a talented artist in the USA
Saint Philomena was the daughter of a king who converted to Christianity. When Diocletian wanted her for his wife, and she refused because of her vow of virginity, she was subjected to a series tortures that ended in her martyrdom. Committed to her Bridegroom, she gave her life for God and His kingdom, knowing nothing on earth could ever compare. Her name means "daughter of light" and she is painted here in vivid and moving colors that reflect the light of His love and the flame of her own heart. This is a beautiful print, depicting her beautiful soul and the outpouring of His love as her reward. She is the Patron Saint of Infants, Youth, Lost Causes, Virgins, & Sterility.
